These Terms of Service govern all project management and consulting services provided by Lamley Project Engineering ("Lamley PE," "we," "us") to clients. By engaging Lamley PE for services, you agree to these terms.
Services
Lamley PE provides fractional project management support for equipment installations, capital projects, and related engagements as described in each engagement agreement or proposal. The specific scope, deliverables, and engagement structure are defined in writing before work begins.
Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate, complete project information and timely access to the people, documents, and site access required to perform the work. Delays caused by missing information or restricted access may affect schedule and cost estimates.
Work Product
All project documentation, reports, and deliverables produced under an engagement become the client's property upon receipt of full payment for the engagement period in which they were created.
Limitation of Liability
Lamley PE provides project management coordination and support services. We are not the engineer of record and do not provide licensed engineering design services. We are not responsible for contractor performance, equipment defects, or outcomes beyond our direct scope of coordination. In no event will our liability exceed the fees paid for the specific engagement in which a claim arises.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any disputes will be resolved in La Crosse County, Wisconsin.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Privacy Policy
Lamley Project Engineering respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information you voluntarily provide through our contact form: your name, email address, company name (optional), and the details you include in your message. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising networks, or third-party analytics that collect personal data.
How We Use Your Information
Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your inquiry and, if an engagement follows, to support the project. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
This site uses Vercel for hosting (privacy-preserving analytics with no personal data collection) and Google Maps embed for location display (subject to Google's Privacy Policy). Neither service receives your contact form data.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry or manage an active engagement. You may request deletion of your information at any time by emailing us directly.

Cancellation Policy
Because consulting engagements involve reserved time and preparation, the following policies apply. Specific terms for your engagement will be confirmed in writing before work begins.
On-Site Installation Management (Day Rate)
Cancellations received more than 5 business days before the scheduled start date will receive a full refund of any deposit paid. Cancellations within 5 business days of the start date forfeit the deposit. If Lamley PE cancels an engagement, a full refund is issued.
Remote Coordination Retainer (Monthly)
Either party may cancel a monthly retainer with 30 days written notice. Fees for the current billing period are non-refundable. No partial-month refunds are issued for cancellations mid-period unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Project Readiness Review (Flat Fee)
The readiness review fee is non-refundable once the engagement is confirmed and the review is scheduled. If you need to reschedule, we will accommodate one reschedule within 30 days at no charge, subject to availability.
How to Cancel
To cancel or reschedule an engagement, contact us through the contact form or via the email provided in your engagement agreement. Cancellations are effective upon written confirmation from Lamley PE.
